Trent Ellis

Head Coach & CEO

Head Coach and CEO of Future Track Club LLC. established in 1996 is one of the longest consecutively run clubs in all of Louisiana. Ellis has secured multiple State Championships along his High School Coaching career at Scotlandville, Baker, Donaldsonville & Brusly. He was also an Assistant Coach at one of the premier sprinting Universities in the nation at LSU & UNO. He is a Level II USATF Certified Sprints, Jumps, Hurdle & Relays Coach. He has also produced multiple collegiate athletes through his school and summer track programs. His dedication to young athletes is unbeaten.

Traci Landry

Assistant Head Coach Emeritus

Coach Traci Landry long standing right hand of Coach Trent Ellis took up the role of developing the elementary and middle school aged kids going on 20 years. A caring, tough and loving coach which no one that has been under her tutelage will soon forget.

Dan Perkins Jr.

Talent Acquisition

Dan Perkins Jr. has coached and acquired scores of children into the FTC Family from his own son Drexel who ran for the club. He began the southern practice site in Gonzales, LA to better serve the membership that grew in that area mostly due to his influence.

Dante' Perkins

Assistant Coach

Coach Perkins is the coaches the southern portion of FTC in the Gonzales area. He is a Certified Level II Sprint, Hurdle & Relays Coach and coaches all age groups throughout the club.

Josalynn "Tootie" Burns

Assistant Coach

Coach Burns is a former member of FTC in the signing class of 2007 to Southeastern University as a hurdler. Now has come back to help kids in more ways than one. Her daughter and niece are now also now running for the club. She specializes in connecting with younger age groups and goes above and beyond for our athletes. She coaches out of the Gonzales location as well.
